Title:The Levi problem for branched covers

Time:06.24,15:0017:00

Venue:N202

Abstract:I will discuss an old counterexample to the Levi problem for branched covers over C2. This will be compared with a recent positive result by Noguchi for the Levi problem for branched covers over C2. The positive results by Noguchi requires some conditions. I will explain why these conditions are not satisfied in the counterexample.

TitleA Conjecture by Blocki

Time06.29,15:0017:00

VenueN913

AbstractThe talk is concerned with a conjecture by Blocki on the area of sublevel sets of the Green's function. I have indicated a counterexample earlier by it has never been explained in detail. So I take this opportunity to present all the nitty gritty details.

要:I added some simple remarks on Lp in the appendix of my lecture notes for a course I gave in Beijing last year. But I didn’t go through them in my lectures nor have I talked about them anywhere else. So I take this opportunity to go through them.
