  de Rham Complex in semi-stable reduction

Abstract:

In a remarkable paper in 1987, Delinge and Illusie proved the decomposition theorem of de Rham complex and used it to give an algebraic proof of the degeneration of the de Rham-Hodge spectral sequence and the Kodaira vanishing theorem. Later, K.Kato generalized the decomposition theorem to semistable reduction families over a pure characteristic base. In this talk, I will introduce their works and study the decomposition of de Rham complex in semistable reduction over a mixed characteristic DVR. This is a joint work with Mao Sheng.
