Abstract:

In this talk, we are going to focus on the KK-lifting problem for C*-algebras, i.e., to determine which KK-class between two C*-algebras can be realized by an algebra homomorphism. This problem is closely related to the Classification Program of C*-algebras. We will exhibit several concrete examples to xplain this issue.
