摘  要：I shall give an overview of some recent works on relating the arithmetic of hypersurfaces in a suitable ambient variety, with their period integrals. I shall also describe an attempt to use period integrals to study certain classical invariant rings. This is based on recent joint works with Jing-Yue Chen, Bong Lian, Shing-Tung Yau, and Cheng-Long Yu.
