摘 要：In this talk, I will apply the normal form method to the Euler-Poisson equation and show its long-term wellposedness. In this general framework I will introduce the main ingredients of the proof one at a time: energy estimates, Strichartz estimates and Z-norm estimates. Time permitting, I will talk about generalisations to the periodic setting, the water wave equation, and more.
