摘 要：In this lecture, I will talk about the small boundary property in the framework of theory of mean dimension. I will discuss the background and some important properties of the small boundary property. I will also show its application in the theory of symbolic extensions of dynamical systems and topological flows as well.

摘 要：In this lecture, I plan to discuss the marker property. Firstly, I will show the background and the basic property of the marker property. Its relation with the small boundary property will also be presented. Finally, I will talk about several applications of the marker property to the theory of mean dimension.
