摘 要：This talk explores the application of a relative trace formula to investigate L(1/2, ), where represents a unitary automorphic representation of GL(n+1) and denotes a fixed cuspidal representation of GL(n). By employing P. Nelson's construction of archimedean test functions and volume estimates, our approach leads to improved subconvexity in the t-aspect and provides quantitative simultaneous nonvanishing results for these central L-values.
