摘 要：
The Cohen-Macaulay / Gorenstein properties of invariants of a ring under the action of a group is of great importance in the study of invariant theory. In this talk I will report Knop's work on the canonical module of the invariant subring of a polynomial ring under the action of a reductive group. Thereafter I will also report a generalization of Knop's work to positive characteristics by Hashimoto.
