摘 要：
In this talk, we shall discuss a multi-species nonlocal reaction-diffusion -advection system modeling the growth of competitive phytoplankton species in a vertical water column. The existence and nonexistence of positive steady states are investigated by using the fixed point index theory and the properties of the principal eigenvalue.
