  要:We study the possibility of realizing a given (almost) complex structure as the transverse structure to an algebraic distribution or foliation on a complex projective variety, according to a suggestion made by F. Bogomolov in 1996 for the integrable case. We develop a deformation theory that implies strong constraints on embedding dimensions, and on the other hand, we show the existence of "universal embedding spaces" of sufficiently large dimension.
