Abstract :By establishing a variational principle for contact Tonelli Hamiltonian systems, we find some dynamical properties of viscosity solutions of certain Hamilton -Jacobi equations depending on unknown functions. Besides, I will talk about some connections with contact geometry and thermodynamics.
This talk is based on some joint works with Jun Yan and Xifeng Su.
