Abstract:
We study the adjunction property of the Jacquet-Emerton functor in certain neighborhoods of critical points on the eigencurve. As an application, we reconstruct Bellaïche's 2-variable p-adic L-functions in neighborhoods of critical points, and critical p-adic L-functions, via Emerton's representation theoretic approach.
