Abstract:
In this talk I will present the integral cohomology ring of BPUn in degree less than or equal to 10, where PUn is the projective unitary group of degree n, and B is hte functor that takes a Lie group to its classifying space. I will outline the proof of this result as well as an application on the topological Brauer groups of cell complexes.
