摘 要:In spaces with good symmetries,classification problems are usually studied module the isometry group action of the ambient spaces with their canonical Riemannian metrics. In this direction, we will briefly mention classification results of isoparametric foliations in space forms and symmetric spaces. On the other hand, in general manifolds, there are two directions for classification of isoparametric foliations. First, one can still fix a "canonical" Riemannian metric and classify the foliations up to isometry group actions. the second direction: classify the foliations up to foliated diffeomorphisms (which constitute the subgroup of diffeomorphisms mapping leaves to leaves). In this direction we will introduce classification results of isoparametric foliations in low dimensional manifolds and in homotopy spheres.
