摘  要：I will explain a Floer type heuristic from symplectic geometry about the homotopy types of moduli spaces of rational curves on a Fano (rationally connected) variety (due to Cohen, Jones, and Segal), and its connection with counting rational curves over finite fields.

摘  要：The stability of tangent bundles of Fano manifolds of Picard number one is a fundamental problem in complex algebraic geometry. In this talk, I will explain the relation of this problem and vanishing theorem. In particular, I will show the stability of tangent bundles of certain complete intersections in a symmetric space. Then, I will consider the stability of the restriction of tangent bundle over a general hypersurface.
