题 目：Transcendental dynamics: Hausdor dimensions of Julia and escaping sets

摘 要：Transcendental dynamics concerns the iteration of transcendental entire or mero-morphic functions in the plane. Two fundamental sets in the theory are Fatou and Julia sets. Another set, which attracts many studies in recent years, is the so-called escaping set. Our main interest in this talk will be Julia and escaping sets, in particular, the Hausdor dimension of these sets. We will rst review results on this respect. Then we talk about some unsolved problems and possible constructive solutions by using quasiconformal mappings.
