Abstract : Recently there has been lots of developments in the study of algebraic theory of K-stability. Among them, many important results are obtained through the study of valuations. We will discuss the valuative criterion of K-stability, the stability threshold of Fano varieties, and the normalized volume functional on klt singularities. If time permits, we will also discuss applications to K-moduli problems.
