摘 要：newform 在有关modular form 的几乎所有应用中都是标准的选择，但在某些情况下并非最合适的选择。在这个报告中我将介绍另一种选择minimal vectors 的定义和性质，与newform的比较，以及其在period integral，trace formulae 及一些解析数论上的应用。
