 Curvature estimates for minimal hypersurfaces

  要:I will report the work by R. Schoen, L. Simon, and S.-T. Yau published on Acta Math., where the authors proved an integral curvature estimate and a pointwise   curvature estimate for the stable minimal hypersurfaces. Consequently, the Bernstein theorem can be obtained for several dimensions. It also simplified the proof of   Simons’ result that there is no non-trivial stable 6-dimensional minimal cone in R^7, and so any minimal graph over R^7 must be a hyperplane in R^8.
