 Construction of multi-solitons for the energy-critical wave equation

  要:In this talk, we will review some results on the construction and interaction of solitary waves for the focusing energy-critical wave equation. After discussing briefly the well-known conjecture of soliton resolution, we will present recent results of the existence of asymptotic multi-solitons in the energy space. The wave equation exhibits a special difficulty in this problem, by the algebraic decay of the stationary solutions at the spatial infinity, which is in sharp contrast with the exponential decay of other massive equations, such as the Klein-Gordon, Schrödinger, and KdV equations.
