摘  要：Central configurations are solutions to an algebraic system derived from the Newton system of equations in the N-body problem and responsible for some dynamical behavior. There is a conjecture about the uniqueness of convex central configuration in the planar 4-body problem. We confirmed the conjecture for a closed domain of masses in the mass space. Our proof is computer-assisted, and is a combination of the interval analysis and implicit function theorem. The talk is based on the recent joint work with Zhifu XIE and Peng YOU.
