摘  要：Mapping class groups and homeomorphism groups are symmetry groups of surfaces and all manifolds. They are usually very rigid, in the sense that their automorphism groups only consist of conjugation. In this talk, I will describe homomorphisms between different groups of similar types. I will discuss many examples like forgetful maps, cabling maps, covering maps and configuration spaces. I will also talk about rigidity results and ask questions.
