摘  要：In the last decade, there has been a growing interest in the study of rational points on homogeneous spaces of linear algebraic groups defined over fields having good arithmetical properties other than the usual global fields. The study of various function fields of curves (and of some Laurent series fields) has been particularly fruitful. In this talk, I will motivate and overview some of the main results in that area.
