Title: Some properties concerning derivations of affine domains

Abstract: In this talk, we will first introduce some connections between the algebraic theory of derivations and affine algebraic geometry. Then we focus on the images of locally nilpotent derivations and ML invariants of some affine domains, and introduce some of our works on these topics. The interest in images of locally nilpotent derivations and ML invariants arose from the Jacobian conjecture and the cancellation problem for affine varieties.
