摘 要：Demailly approximation is a useful technique in complex geometry. We develop an arithmetic analogue in Arakelov geometry. It serves as an arithmetic Bertini type theorem. As an application, we prove half of a conjecture of Xinyi Yuan that an adelic line bunde is pseudo-effective if and only if its induced height function has non-negative essential minimum. This is a joint work with Hang Yin.
