摘 要：Starting from three mutually tangent circles on the planes, one can construct an Apollonian circle packing by iteratively inscribing circles in the interstices. Apollonian circle packings and their likes enjoy rich number theoretical and dynamical structures. In this talk I will survey recent results on these packings.
