Title: On a Construction of Random Homeomorphisms in Higher Dimensions

Abstract:The classical construction of Dubins and Freedman (1967) provides a fundamental way to generate random homeomorphisms on the unit interval. In this talk, we propose a framework for extending the Dubins–Freedman construction to higher-dimensional compact domains. As a concrete application, we construct a non-trivial random homeomorphism on the unit square [0,1]^2 and show that it is almost surely Hölder continuous. This talk is based on joint work with Yanqi Qiu.
