题 目：Embedding the symmetries of surfaces to those of 3-sphere and 4-sphere

摘 要：This is a survey talk mostly occupied by intuitive examples and figures, and the methods will be mentioned. Suppose a finite group G acts on F_g, the surface of genus g. The talk will consists of three parts.
(1) We first consider how to extend to the G action over the 3-sphere for some embedding form F_g to the 3-sphere. (jointly with C. Wang, B. Zimmermann, Y. Zhang).(2) Next we will discuss if a periodic map (finite cyclic group action) on surface extends to a homeomorphism of the 3-sphere, can it extends to a periodical map of the 3-sphere (jointly with Y. Ni and C. Wang)?
(3) Can we say something about (1) and (2) if the 3-sphere is replaced by the 4-sphere (jointly with Z. Wang)?
