CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Institute of Mathematics invites outstanding mathematical researchers to apply for about ten faculty positions at various levels in each year including the talent programs from the Chinese government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as the talent programs of AMSS.

National Programs:

l Thousand Talents Plan Category A: Long term position, for professors from well-known universities

l Thousand Talents Plan Category B: Short term position, for outstanding researchers

l Thousand Young Talents Program: aiming to attract outstanding overseas young scholars/professionals.

Chinese Academy of Sciences Programs: both are tenured positions

l 100 Talents Project Category A: For professors from universities abroad

l 100 Talents Project Category C: For young researchers from universities abroad

AMSS Programs:

l Chair Professors: Hua Loo-Keng professors for mathematics and applied mathematics, Feng Kang Professors for computational mathematics, Kwan Chao-Chih professors for systems science

l Oversea Outstanding Youth Project: Tenure track positions for junior researchers from abroad

l Post-doctorial Fellowship: for those obtained Phd degrees within two years
