摘  要：I will discuss a categorical construction of ADE root systems from their underlying Dynkin graphs. This construction, due to Kirillov, is very explicit and combinatorial in nature, giving an alternate perspective on the usual Lie theory. I will comment on the sense in which this construction is 'over SU(2)'.
