摘  要：In this talk, we will introduce the application of cobordism theory in the classification of symmetry-protected topological phases, i.e SPT phases. We will show how to use cobordism to classify positivity reflection invertible TQFTs with symmetry groups and use this to give a general formula for SPT phases by cobordism. We will also show some examples of certain symmetry groups and their computations of cobordism.

摘  要：Via the bordism group of a pin+ manifold with a w1-twisted integer lift of tangential w4, we will explain that there is no parity anomaly in M-theory in the low-energy field theory approximation. We will also explain the trivialization of M-theory corresponds to the elements in the bordism group.
