摘 要:A Kleinian group is a discrete subgroup of PGL(2,C). A key feature of a Kleinian group
is that there is a discontinuity domain in the Riemann sphere on which the group acts in a properly
discontinuous way. The quotient of this discontinuity domain by the group action is typically a
finite union of Riemann surfaces of finite type. In this talk we will consider group actions of
"Kleinian type" in higher complex dimension. The group PGL(2,C) will be replaced with
the birational transformation group of a complex projective variety. We further impose that
the quotient of the discontinuity domain by the group action is compact. We will give a
classification of such group actions in dimension two.
