Abstract:

In a study of Lubin-Tate spaces, we find that the l-adic etale cohomology of an Artin-Schreier curve is useful to construct a primitive local Galois representation and give an explicit description of the local Langlands correspondence in some special case.

In this talk, we want to discuss a Deligne-Lusztig type construction of varieties, which gives the above-mentioned Artin-Schreier curve as an example. This is a joint work with Takahiro Tsushima.
