摘  要：Yang-Mills gauge theory on real 4 manifolds has been a central subject in mathematics in the past forty years. Notably, Donaldson found amazing applications of Yang-Mills theory to smooth 4-dimensional topology. In this talk, I will discuss my works on developing a complexification of Donaldson theory on Calabi-Yau 4-folds. Applications to enumerative geometry of Calabi-Yau 4-folds and Gromov-Witten type theory for moduli of sheaves on Calabi-Yau 3-folds will also be discussed.
