摘  要：Nontrivial shear layers are known to be spectrally unstable. Small perturbations grow exponentially fast and nonlinear effects soon appear. In this talk we will discuss secondary instabilities arising in shear flows as the viscosity goes to 0. We will in particular discuss new results on Prandtl equation which indicate that new sublayers appear with unexpected sizes.
