Title: Line bundles on moduli stacks of parahoric bundles

Abstract:Let G be a reductive group. Line bundles on moduli spaces/stack of G-bundles on a smooth projective curve were studied in 90’s by many mathematicians, including Beauville, Laszlo, Faltings, Kumar, Narasimhan, Ramanathan, Sorger, Teleman, etc. The main problems are the Verlinde formula for the dimension of global sections of theses line bundles, and the determination of the Picard groups of the moduli spaces/stack of G-bundles. In this talk, I will discuss some results on the same problems for line bundles on the moduli stack of bundles over parahoric Bruhat-Tits group schemes over curves. These questions for parahoric bundles were first asked by Pappas-Rapoport. They generalize the classical story for parabolic G-bundles, and they are also related to twisted conformal blocks. This talk will be based on my recent work (arXiv:2412.08826) with Chiara Damiolini.
