Title: Geometry of Smooth Hyperplanes in G/P

Abstract:In this talk, we will discuss the geometry of smooth hyperplane sections in partial flag varieties, particularly focusing on (co)adjoint varieties and Grassmannians. We will focus on two key topics: their Betti numbers and the monodromy actions. This research is based on joint work with Sergey Galkin, Naichung Conan Leung, Changzheng Li, and Kirill Zainouline.
