Title: Global regularity of 2D density patches for incompressible variable-viscosity fluids

Abstract: We consider the two-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity coefficient. The density-patch problem considers an initial density which is the indicator function of a bounded domain, and asks whether the boundary regularity persists over time when the density is transported by the fluid flow. The goal of this talk is to prove this regularity propagation under a suitable smallness assumption on the initial velocity field.
