Title:Relative Langlands Duality for Strongly Tempered Hyperspherical Varieties

Abstract: In this talk, we will give an introduction to Relative Langlands Duality developed by Ben‑Zvi, Sakellaridis, and Venkatesh. We will focus on a fundamental family, strongly tempered hyperspherical varieties. Then we will present a conjectural description of their dual Hamiltonian varieties and discuss how this duality unifies many classical examples of automorphic periods (e.g., Rankin–Selberg integrals) under this conceptual framework.This project is a joint work with Chen Wen and Zhengyu Mao at Rutgers University.
